After winning the Audit People Award as Italy’s best beach club for quality and sustainability, Poseidonia Beach Club achieves another prestigious milestone. The beach facility owned by Gianni Rizzo, in Ascea Marina, has been the first to reach certified environmental sustainability, obtaining ISO 20121 certification, the most internationally recognized standard worldwide for sustainable event management.

The certification doesn’t concern a single event, but the entire Poseidonia Beach Club facility, which has qualified as a suitable location for organizing and hosting sustainable events. This means guaranteeing clear and measurable sustainability criteria to the market: from the prevalent use of energy from photovoltaic systems to zero-kilometer products, from GDPR-compliant security and privacy procedures to proper contractual arrangements for employees.

Events held at Poseidonia Beach Club, whether corporate, team building, marketing-related, or agri-food sector events, will therefore be able to obtain a certificate attesting to the sustainability parameters respected, such as CO₂ emissions saved or the percentage of local products used. The certification process was overseen by an auditor who verified documentation, procedures, and infrastructure.
