Cala Sveva Obtains Beach Facility Certification

Cala Sveva ha ottenuto la certificazione balneare

A new certification for Cala Sveva. The beach club in Termoli, managed by the Vincitorio family, obtained last month the Uni 11911 certification which defines the requirements and recommendations for conducting beach facility operations and service qualification for bathing establishments in Italy. This is the second certification for the beach establishment, which already boasts three umbrellas from the “Guide to Italy’s Best Beach Clubs” and has established itself as the best in the entire Central Adriatic macro-region. In July, Cala Sveva had already obtained the Uni Iso 13009 certification on sustainable and quality management of beaches.

Uni 11911 is the Italian standard dedicated to “Beach facilities – Requirements and recommendations for conducting operations – Qualification elements”. It provides operators with criteria to qualify services and facilities, organize activities and help users make informed choices. It takes into account the characteristics of the location, spaces and infrastructure available during the bathing season. In its development, the requirements and recommendations of Uni Iso 13009 were also considered.

“The result also holds significance for Termoli. A destination’s reputation grows through its businesses’ ability to provide qualified services and invest in their own organization. Each facility contributes to the overall experience of those who choose the city and, with it, to the image of the territory,” reads the article published by Termolionline.

The Vincitorio family believed in Termoli’s potential by also offering tourists a distributed hotel (Residenza Sveva) created from houses in the old fortified village. The beach club enjoys a splendid position, at the foot of the walls and the monumental fortress with a trabocco overlooking the sea of Termoli, one of the jewel towns of the Adriatic. But on this foundation an entrepreneurial beach story has been built that can be considered a point of pride for all of Molise. The location is open year-round for dining and as a venue for corporate meetings. Booking of spots can be made exclusively online and, for those worried about bad weather, there is even insurance: by paying a minimal fee, you get full and automatic refund (via cashback) in case of two hours of rain.
