Cava Regia seizure lifted at season’s end

The Court of Review of Naples has overturned the preventive seizure that had been ordered last July for the beach club Cava Regia. As a result, the facility can reopen. Too bad that the season has meanwhile come to an end.

This means missing the two crucial months of work for what had been one of the most important novelties of the 2024 season and which started 2025 on a high note, with VIP guests (including actress Susan Sarandon) and recognition, such as the title of best design beach club in Campania awarded by our guide.

The seizure came at the peak moment, on July 11th, by decree of the investigating judge of the Court of Torre Annunziata. The opposition by the management, represented by the tourist complex “Le Axidie” of Seiano, prevailed, but the timing was far from quick and only today the Municipality of Vico Equense revoked the suspension of the Scia (Certified notification of business activity start).
