The free webinar by Audit People on tools and strategies to enhance beach facilities highlighted the importance of quality and sustainability as pathways for beach establishments to obtain concessions. With two case studies at the center of the discussion: Poseidonia Beach Club in Marina di Ascea (Salerno) and Altamarea Beach Village in Cattolica (Rimini), both featured in the “Guide to Italy’s Best Beach Clubs” and awarded in previous years with the Audit People Award precisely for their sustainability choices.

After an intervention by Andrea Guolo and Tiziana Di Masi, the guide’s curators, who highlighted summer 2026 trends and anticipated some elements of the trends that will be included in the next edition of the guide – in particular the possible reduction of spaces dedicated to sports activities, due to excessive heat that penalizes sports like padel and tennis, to instead host corporate and private events within the beaches – Stefano Bonetto, Standards Expert and Lead Auditor, took the floor.

Bonetto delved into the role of quality and sustainability in building a competitive advantage, with particular attention to the opportunities offered by tenders and the ability of organizations to translate their commitment into concrete elements of value and recognition. The case studies of Poseidonia Beach Club (shown in the opening photo) and Altamarea Beach Club brought the discussion to the level of concrete experiences, presented as opportunities to explore approaches, initiatives and pathways for enhancing facilities.

The initiative offered a moment of exchange between regulatory expertise, market knowledge and field experiences, highlighting an increasingly relevant challenge for the sector: integrating quality and sustainability into development strategies and being able to communicate in a transparent and distinctive manner the results achieved.

With this appointment, Audit People confirmed its commitment to promoting the culture of quality, sustainability and training, fostering opportunities for updates and sharing aimed at professionals and organizations.
