The mayor of Riccione, Daniela Angelini, was also present at the award ceremony for Beach Le Palme 88-89 as the best design beach club in Emilia Romagna. The ceremony for the San Greg Award took place recently in Riccione, directly at the headquarters of the beach club owned by Leardini Group, one of the leaders in hospitality on the Romagna Riviera.

The award was collected by the group’s top management: Vincenzo Leardini, Rita Leardini, Cinzia Matteoni and Andrea Leardini. They wanted to involve part of the team engaged in managing the beach club located in one of the most beautiful spots on the Riccione coast, near the canal port and not far from the “legendary” viale Ceccarini.

Leardini Group is a diversified company that oversees seven hotel facilities with a total of 250 rooms, a catering company and five restaurants and bistros. Beach Le Palme is one of the crown jewels of its offering and has earned the three umbrella rating awarded by the Guide to Italy’s Best Beach Clubs in the 2025 edition.

The beach club is superior level, not only for the presence of two pools (in addition to the hot tubs) and a series of premium services like beach towels and access to all sports activities included in the price, but also for the staff’s attention to their guests’ needs. For those with children, there’s also the convenience of the miniclub. The beach setups are consistent with the service level: wide spacing, three meters of shaded diameter under the king-size umbrellas. Available to clients is the beautiful beach chiringuito that also serves lunch, but for those who don’t want to leave their umbrella, there’s also waiter service. After all, leaving your umbrella is something you don’t want to do at Le Palme, because the beach experience is absolutely wonderful. But for those who might get restless, there’s the beautiful central “piazzetta” which is the reference point for those who at lunch would like to enjoy half a dozen oysters, a skewer or fish tempura, but also the classic Romagna piadina, all available at Calypso Beach Bar.

The sunset aperitif is an experience to remember, at an accessible price nonetheless. The facility is also pet friendly.
