A summer to remember for Giuseppe Ferrara and all the staff working at the Sand D’Oro beach club in Scanzano Jonico. The recognition came yesterday in Rimini, where at the Ttg and In&Out events the establishment was awarded the Best Beach 2025 prize, promoted by Mondo Balneare with the patronage of Assobalneari Confindustria.

The jury awarded Sand D’Oro Beach Club for the quality of its services, care in hospitality, and ability to integrate sustainability and innovation in a natural setting of extraordinary beauty.

The beach club in Scanzano, already awarded as the best facility in Basilicata (three umbrellas rating) by the Guide to the best beach clubs in Italy, has distinguished itself for its attention to the environment, elegant structures, and constant search for solutions that improve guests’ experience, demonstrating how even a region often considered “niche” in coastal tourism can become a national reference point for excellence and vision.

Also climbing onto the Best Beach 2025 podium were Saint Barth Beach Club in Porto Recanati (Marche) and Coco Beach in Cozze (Puglia). The latter also won the Best Italian Beach category, followed by Lido Baiadèra in Oliveri (Sicily) and Aloha Beach in Follonica (Tuscany).

Fiko Beach in Roccella Jonica (Calabria) was crowned Best Beach Bar 2025, thanks to its ability to combine music, atmosphere, and high-level hospitality. On the podium behind it were Shilling Sea Club in Ostia (Lazio) and Dadaumpa Village in Fiumicino (Lazio).
