Rumors from Forte, Del Vecchio interested in La Capannina

In Armani‘s future there could be a closer liaison with EssilorLuxottica, already a historic eyewear partner for the group founded by the late designer from Piacenza, but a connection is also emerging on the horizon between La Capannina, the venue acquired by Giorgio Armani this summer, and Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, already present in Versilia with two beach clubs, Twiga and Vesta Mare.

According to La Nazione, the historic venue had already been courted by Del Vecchio Jr. years ago, but now an entry into La Capannina is taking shape. A move that could prelude EssilorLuxottica’s entry into Giorgio’s realm, as he himself wanted, given that the world-leading eyewear group was one of the three potential partners mentioned by Armani in his will, alongside Lvmh and L’Oreal.
