Pop Up Beach in three Ligurian beach clubs

Tre lidi della Liguria uniti da Pop Up Beach

A company specialized in organizing private events and managing venues has arrived on the beaches of Liguria. This is Pop Up Beach, which has launched a business unit focused on beach resorts and from this season operates in three beach clubs on the Riviera di Levante.

These are Bagni Rosa in Santa Margherita Ligure, the nearby Bagni Valletta also in the most important town of Tigullio (and gateway to beautiful Portofino), and Bagni Scogliera in Nervi, near Genoa.

At these three locations, Pop Up Beach has been managing the dining offering and food&beverage service since this season, focusing on a curated selection made with selected suppliers and high-quality ingredients.

Among the suppliers that the Piedmont-based company works with are Caffè Vergnano for coffee, Fever Tree for soft drinks, and Nastro Azzurro for beers.

At all three beaches, the restaurant service operates continuously from 10 AM, with a dedicated breakfast menu, then continuing through lunch, aperitivo, and dinner hours. The supervision is entrusted to chef Flavio Cumali. Among the dishes: Sicilian raw fish, fine de claire oyster platters, carpacci and fried seafood; squid ink tagliolini and seafood pasta, sea bass ravioli; catch of the day. At lunch, a selection of salads and poke bowls is added.

The establishments, as per Pop Up’s policy, are available to host private events and join the company’s portfolio, which includes locations such as castles, museum spaces, and historic palaces.

“Creating a division dedicated to beach dining has been an important step for us, allowing us to further expand our company’s horizons, transferring the know-how acquired over the years into a new division that we hope to grow over time,” explains Fabrizio Bocca, head of Pop Up. “The goal is to work as we always have, putting the client and their needs at the center, aiming to make each location a unique and unforgettable place.”
