Lugana, seaside tour
Lake Garda’s most celebrated wine reaches the sea, with a stop at a beach club in Tuscany. The Consorzio Tutela Lugana Doc launches the Lugana Sunset Tour, a format designed to bring the experience of Garda’s white wine to the most iconic beaches of the Italian coast. Three evenings of aperitifs, dinners and lifestyle moments, to experience Lugana as a symbol of Mediterranean elegance and endless summer.
At each stop, over 15 different Lugana labels to taste with views of the Riviera, a Lugana corner to tell the story of this denomination, and a sommelier to guide wine choices and help navigate between the wines and their distinctive features.
September 4 – Cala Zingaro, Milano Marittima: from 6:30 PM, the Lugana-dedicated aperitif and dinner with the à la carte menu of the iconic Romagnolo venue.
September 5 – Marina Beach, Jesolo: from 7:00 PM, dinner with food&wine pairing proposals created by the kitchen, followed by DJ set and club party with tasting opportunities also after dinner.
September 7 – Marula, Follonica: from 5:30 PM the beach club transforms into a Lugana Bar, with an exclusive seaside aperitif paired with tapas; from 7:30 PM there will also be dinner with dedicated offerings.
The “Lugana Sunset Tour” format was created to expand Lugana’s summer experience, conveying its identity through emotional storytelling: from wine to landscape, from Italian lifestyle to elegant conviviality. Each stop is conceived as an immersive moment, with minimal and refined setups, from the entrance to the information corner, right to the table, where cultural and sensory narrative prevails over technical aspects.
“With the Lugana Sunset Tour we want people to experience Lugana in unprecedented and evocative settings, capable of uniting wine, vacation and Italian lifestyle. A way to present our wine not just as a product, but as a cultural and emotional experience that accompanies summer’s most beautiful moments,” comments Edoardo Peduto, Director of Consorzio Tutela Lugana DOC.
