After the Sea Horse Beach case in Amantea, Calabria, there’s the Coco Beach Club case on Lake Garda, on the Brescia shore. Here too, in northern Lombardy, it went the same way: inspection by law enforcement and violation detected. Immediately the newspapers headline: beach club under seizure. But in reality, the beach club, in both cases, continued its activities. Even though someone, reading the news, might have decided to change their plans.

At Sea Horse Beach, according to what the management itself communicated on Instagram, everything has returned to normal. Initially, the restaurant section had been closed, but now it’s in full operation. So, among the green rocks of Coreca, you can once again enjoy the swordfish sandwich and other specialties of the beach establishment.

Regarding Coco Beach Club in Lonato del Garda, after the closure announcement by the Police Headquarters, management denies the shutdown and, through an Instagram story, communicates that: “Coco Beach Club is regularly open: the beach club, restaurant and nightclub (outdoor and indoor areas) continue their activities in full compliance with current regulations”.

The communication, as reported by Elive Brescia in this article, comes after the inspection carried out during the night between Tuesday July 2nd and Wednesday July 3rd by the State Police, which – according to what reported by the Police Headquarters – would have found missing authorizations for public entertainment activities and for food and beverage service.

Coco Beach management, however, clarifies that “it is actively collaborating with competent authorities to clarify and resolve every bureaucratic issue as soon as possible”, adding a direct message to customers: “We thank those who have shown us trust and support during these hours, and we confirm that the season continues as scheduled”.
