The second edition of “Guide to the best beach clubs in Italy” will be available in bookstores in April. Published by Morellini, authored by Andrea Guolo (creator and author) and Tiziana Di Masi, as experiential consultant, the 2025 edition features a series of important new developments. Approximately 300 establishments will be reviewed, compared to 225 in the first edition, and this growth is the result of new openings in 2024 and new inclusions not considered in the first edition. “In the second year of #beachclubtour we had the opportunity to visit establishments that have all the requirements to enter the guide,” the authors declared.

Furthermore, while including a good number of new entries, the guide further “selects” the Italian seaside sector, composed of over 7,000 beach clubs, eliminating simple “mentions” from the publication and including only establishments that have earned a rating of at least “one umbrella,” which equals at least 60 evaluation points out of one hundred.

And the date of the national event is already official, which will be held in Milan on Thursday, May 8th at 6:30 PM at the Dazio Levante tollbooth in Piazza Sempione (Arco della Pace), reaffirming the partnership already tested last year with Aperitivo Festival. It will be an opportunity to bring together the elite of Italian seaside entrepreneurs and to award the prizes for the best beach clubs in Italy.

Last year, Alpemare (Forte dei Marmi) won the Aperitivo Festival Award. In addition to the overall winner, six special awards were given divided by category. Gilda in Forte dei Marmi won in the restaurant category, conquering the Cà Maiol Award – Best beach restaurant Italia 2024. The San Greg by Feudi di San Gregorio Award for best design went to Langosteria Bagni Fiore, for its aesthetic standards that make it an international reference point. The quality and sustainability award sponsored by Audit People was won by Bagno Alcione in Forte dei Marmi. The best location? For the guide’s authors, in 2024 it was La Scogliera in Positano. The novelty of the year, related to the 2023 season, is Tigu Beach in Sestri Levante. The heritage award went to Bagno Piero (Forte dei Marmi).
