A weekend at the beach, even though it’s the middle of winter, with love and lovers as the protagonists. Cattolica is organizing it, where the “Le Spiagge di Cattolica” committee is launching a contest from February 14th to 16th for those who can capture the most meaningful image by immortalizing themselves with kisses or themed photos at the “Panchina dei baci” (Kiss Bench).

The program begins Friday, February 14th at 4:00 PM at the happiness bench (bagno Stella Marina, zone 46) together with students from the Cattolica Music Academy “Giorgio Della Santina” and singer Veronica Alice, connecting sentiment with the words of poems by Cattolica writer Daniela D’Elia, read and interpreted by actress Alessandra Giardina.

Saturday, February 15th at 4:00 PM at the kiss bench (bagno Oasis 70/71), the most famous kisses in cinema history will be the protagonists of the meeting with Valerio Guslandi, journalist, writer, professor and editor-in-chief of “Ciak” magazine, who will share anecdotes and unpublished curiosities from the big screen, starting with the theme of Tornatore’s film “Nuovo cinema Paradiso”, introduced by Danilo Casadei’s clarinet.

Sunday, February 16th at 11:00 AM at the reading bench (bagno Altamarea zone 105, one of the 225 beach clubs included in the “Guide to the best beach clubs in Italy” and the only establishment in Cattolica featured in the guide), writer and Counselor Claudia Venuti will offer the audience moments ranging from irony to romanticism, with her joyful expertise and her descriptive and introspective skills manifested through her work and novels “Pensavo fosse amore invece era un caso umano”, “Ti voglio felice”, “Ho trovato un cuore a terra ma non era il mio”, “Passi” and “Dove ti trovo?”.

The contest for photos taken at the Kiss Bench, shared on the authors’ profiles with the tag @lespiaggedicattolica and @cattolicawelcome, will be selected and awarded during the February 15th meeting.
