A bike ride that evokes cycling of yesteryear, dedicated both to cyclists who want to challenge themselves on long and demanding routes, and to bike lovers without the constraints of competitive racing, who love to pedal without haste, discovering the territory. And it concludes by the sea, at Fantini Club in Cervia, a beach club with three umbrellas in the “Guide to the Best Beach Clubs in Italy 2024” and winner of the title of best beach establishment in Emilia Romagna, an award presented last May to Filippo Fantini (third generation representative) by the then President of Emilia Romagna Region, Stefano Bonaccini.

This is the fifth edition of the Strade Bianche del Sale Fantini Club, which returns to Cervia, at Fantini Club, on Sunday October 13th. Starting from the beach, “French style” (from 7:45 to 8:45 AM) and the finish line has also been set on the beach. In between, four routes (chosen by participants) of 35, 65, 100 and 120 km, starting from the coast to cross the beautiful Salina di Cervia Park and continue to the hills of Bertinoro, with a full 60 km of white roads, up to the exciting arrival by the sea, on the legendary finish platform of the world’s largest Ironman!

The fun weekend of the Strade Bianche del Sale Fantini Club begins from 10:00 AM on Saturday October 12th, with the opening of the Gravel Village expo area in collaboration with Baldoni Bike Shop Forlì. On Saturday afternoon, the first edition of the Pineta Social Ride starts at 2:00 PM, a major novelty of this edition. A pure fun ride accessible to everyone, on a 40-kilometer completely flat route, through canals and pine forests, discovering another side of the Strade Bianche di Romagna. Registration, only 5 euros, includes a beer voucher to enjoy upon arrival at Fantini Club, where from 4:00 PM, the fun continues with music, beer, piadina and sausage.

It’s still possible to register at the Sportur offices (via Caduti per la Libertà 52/C, Cervia – Ra) until 12:00 PM on Friday October 11th. Starting Saturday, registration will only be possible at the registration point set up for the event at Fantini Club (Saturday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM) at the rate of 25 euros, which includes the rich race pack and the beautiful commemorative medal at the finish, plus four refreshment stations on the route and the grand finale with the pasta party, where participants and companions can enjoy pizza, pasta, stuffed sandwiches, sausages, ice cream, water, wine, beer, soft drinks and coffee. For cyclists’ companions, entry is only 10 euros.

Available to participants and companions will be, as always, the services of Fantini Club. The beach will be open, as well as Ristorante Calamare, with its Mediterranean fish-based cuisine, street food offerings, piadina and pizza, and the play area on the sand for the little ones.
