Alessandro Enriquez’s signature at Lido Corallo and Lido Sud
The prints by Alessandro Enriquez embellish the beach facilities of the Minicuccio family at Marina di Modica. The stylist and designer has indeed launched a collaboration project with Lido Corallo, a historic beach club led by Mariangela Corallo and Federico Minicuccio, which has been a reference point for summers at Marina di Modica for over fifty years, maintaining its strong connection with the territory through a year-round restaurant and hospitality that preserves the memory of vacations in Sicily. And then there is Lido Sud, also owned by the Minicuccio family, which interprets the same vocation with a contemporary perspective, offering an experience that intertwines sea, dining, and design in a setting with a strongly Mediterranean soul.
A creative intervention that involves every space and guides guests through a narrative made of iconic prints, colors, and illustrated details. The most recognizable patterns of the stylist – from stripes to hearts, from ironic writings to motifs inspired by the scents and colors of the Mediterranean – dress the outdoor spaces with umbrellas, loungers, cushions, beach towels, and dining areas, transforming the beach experience into an immersion in Enriquez’s aesthetic.
The project unfolds as an interior, exterior, and textile design intervention that translates Alessandro Enriquez’s creative universe into an immersive experience. The iconic patterns of the stylist take shape on umbrellas, loungers, cushions, beach towels, fabrics, and furnishings, dialoguing with the wallpapers from the Enriquezland collection, created in collaboration with Jannelli&Volpi, and with a selection of his celebrated Caltagirone ceramics, already protagonists of previous design-focused projects. Completing the narrative, the staff uniforms, designed by Enriquez, contribute to building a coherent visual identity, where patterns, colors, and Mediterranean references seamlessly traverse the interior and exterior spaces, transforming every detail into part of a single story.
