Veneto’s best beach clubs, and the winner is…

Veneto, svelati i nomi dei best beach club

Des Bains 1900 at Lido di Venezia is the best beach club in Veneto, Don Pablo in Caorle is the best beachfront restaurant (sponsored by Cà Maiol), Sand e Sale Feeling Beach in Isolaverde wins the best design beach club award (sponsored by San Greg), and Stella Maris in Sottomarina takes the quality and sustainability award (sponsored by Audit People). Today, Italianbeach.club and the Guide to Italy’s Best Beach Clubs revealed the composition of the finest beach establishments in a region that appears to be experiencing significant qualitative growth. The numbers speak for themselves: the Veneto beach clubs selected by the authors, visited, evaluated, and finally included in the guide with a minimum rating of one umbrella have risen to 23 (compared to 18 in the 2025 edition). Four establishments have earned the “three umbrellas” rating, the highest score awarded by the authors: Des Bains 1900, Beach Hotel Excelsior also at Lido di Venezia, Riviera Lake in Garda, and Stella Maris in Sottomarina.

This upgrade is linked both to investments initiated by beach entrepreneurs – an example being the promotion from one to two “umbrellas” for Cbc Beach Club in Jesolo – and to this year’s main novelty: the inclusion, for the first time, of lake beach clubs. In this special section, it was precisely a Veneto establishment that received the best Italian lake beach club award at the Grand Gala of Italy’s Beach Clubs, the sector’s reference event held at Hotel Excelsior Gallia in Milan for the official launch of the Guide. This is Riviera Lake at Punta San Vigilio (Garda), the result of an initiative by the Rana family.

Furthermore, the level of beach offerings at Lido di Venezia deserves special mention. With three beach clubs included in the guide and eight overall “umbrellas” in ratings – adding to the “three umbrellas” awarded to Des Bains 1900 are the three for Beach Hotel Excelsior and the two for 2026 newcomer Bluemoon, an establishment managed by the municipal company Venezia Spiagge – Venice becomes the provincial capital (in Veneto’s case, also regional capital) with the most beach clubs and most “umbrellas” in Italy.
