Capovaticano Resort is the Best Beach Club in Calabria

The beach club at Capovaticano Resort Thalasso Spa confirms its title as the best beach club in Calabria in the 2026 edition of Guide to Italy’s Best Beach Clubs, the first and only guide of its kind conceived and curated by journalist Andrea Guolo and actress and author Tiziana Di Masi, in bookstores for the third consecutive year in an updated and renewed edition (Morellini editore, Milano).

The beach establishment, already winner last year of the best beach club award in the region, has thus strengthened its leadership within a dynamic Calabria that is well represented in the guide. A total of 16 Calabrian beach establishments are featured in the publication. In addition to the overall winner, three special awards have been assigned divided by category. Standing out in dining, winning the Cà Maiol Award – Best beach restaurant 2026, is Il Fico at Lido Tahiti in Palmi, which had already won the national award for most voted beach club by the public, awarded last May 7th on the occasion of the Gran Galà dei Beach Club d’Italia. The San Greg by Feudi di San Gregorio Award for best design in Calabria was awarded to Buddha Beach, in Praia a Mare. Finally, Cactus Beach in Locri received the award for best beach club for quality and sustainability (Audit People Award) for its policies implemented in this area.
