According to Fanpage, Twiga is Italy’s most expensive beach club
What is the most expensive beach club in Italy? Here’s the ranking that sparks debate every year, and this year it’s Fanpage, an online news website, that has drawn up a certainly debatable ranking, based as it is on prices for specific spots rather than averages. In any case, here’s the verdict.
In first place we find Twiga in Marina di Pietrasanta, which in the article is mistakenly geolocated to Forte dei Marmi, but that doesn’t change much. For the presidential sofa or maxi imperial tent in the front row, the cost is 1,500 euros per day. What services are included? Safety deposit box, branded beach towels and a personal waiter to fulfill every culinary request.
Alpemare, already winner of the best beach club in Italy award according to our guide, holds the next position with king tents starting from 1,200 euros per day. “What makes them so special? They not only offer total privacy, guests who choose this option are also offered fusion dishes by the renowned chef Nobu and a private shuttle service with personal driver for transfers,” the website writes.
Nikki Beach in Costa Smeralda costs up to a maximum of 1,000 euros per day and the site claims that “they are often accompanied by a welcome bottle of Champagne or Magnum formats of rosé wine”.
In Puglia, Le Cinque Vele in Pescoluse is mentioned, with an exclusive area featuring private maxi gazebos with English lawn: a day at the beach here can cost up to 700 euros per day. What is included in the service? King-size loungers with ergonomic pillows, handmade artisan towels from local textile mills, chilled welcome sparkling wine, selections of exotic fresh fruit and a private beach majordomo.
Finally, there’s the Arienzo Beach Club in Positano, where an exclusive VIP experience is offered for 700 euros per person. Exclusive transport aboard speedboats, access to the private cove, front-row umbrella with loungers equipped with anatomical mattresses and full lunch based on fresh seafood, all accompanied by glasses of champagne and Amalfi lemon sgroppino: these are all the services included in the price.
