White Beach, Cirò Marina

In 2009, Toni Anania founded White on the beach of Cirò Marina, a restaurant now run by his son Pierluigi together with his mother Vittoria. It is one of the reference points in the province of Crotone for seafood cuisine, with dishes prepared by mama Vittoria who, when it comes to preparing specialties like linguine with sea urchins, tagliolini with lobster, or spaghetti aglio olio peperoncino with red prawn tartare, wins over customers’ hearts who immediately ask when there’s availability for their next visit. The pizzas are also excellent. A small detail that’s dear to us: the Beach is also a beach establishment, well organized and featuring a spectacular swimming pool that serves as the heart of evening events, from dinners with friends to ceremonies and mega parties celebrated right here. The spots are well spaced and divided into umbrellas with standard sun loungers and a premium area with gazebos to experience the beach of Cirò in complete relaxation with all the services offered by White’s staff, including drinks to enjoy under your umbrella. There’s a dedicated play area for children and, for those traveling with dogs, access is limited to the restaurant and pool area only, as there’s a municipal ban on the beach. The wine list is a beautiful representation of Cirò producers, from whites to reds to rosés. The cocktails on the drink menu are classic ones.
