Rafel Beach, Alghero

A restaurant open year-round, a completely renovated establishment, a privileged position on Cuguttu beach, just before the cliff, with views of the city of Alghero. Entrepreneur Andrea Pinna transformed Rafel, taking it over in 2020 with some partners from Alghero and creating a contemporary, designer beach club starting from the entrance counter, above which hang cut sailor ropes, creating a strong connection with the external environment. Throughout the design concept, attention to sustainability and reducing environmental impact emerges, starting with the structure that is raised above the beach surface and uses recyclable and reusable materials. On the beach, standard wooden stations alternate with canopies protected by beige-colored awnings located in the two central lanes along the wooden access walkway. While the covered space around the lounge bar is dedicated to lunchtime, the area created near the beach bar is ideal for a break from the sun, with the protection of fabric coverings between a fresh drink and coffee.
