Among Italian excellences, Phi Beach deserves a place. This military fort recovered by Luciano Guidi – who is about to start the construction of a series of suites in the adjacent former tourist village that will be restored to heights much grander than those of old – has become the reference point for nightlife on the Costa Smeralda. Considering it a beach club is reductive because in reality the daytime experience is a marginal activity for the structure, which boasts about thirty positions and sea access better suited for navigation, although the cove can be aesthetically delightful. The climactic moment begins when the sun sets and Phi Beach starts to fill with guests who arrive for aperitifs, for dinner at Giancarlo Morelli’s restaurant, to enjoy the sunset or to prepare for the evening/event. When the sun goes down, Forte Cappellini lights up as if it were Times Square and the seasonal event program created is among the best in the world. Year after year, Phi Beach confirms and implements its status as the most internationally successful Italian formula linked to the interpretation of the sea as a place of entertainment and gathering for high society worldwide, which can have reserved spaces like The Rock Club, with private entrance and guaranteed privacy. Phi Beach has all the imaginable services in a seaside structure, including a heliport. The restaurants? There’s Phi Restaurant in its various forms (including the Dom Pérignon experience, to accompany the vintages of the famous champagne, and the Royal Table at The Rock Club) and in 2025 came the novelty of the food concept Nammos already present in Mykonos, Dubai, Cyprus and Cannes. The season begins in late May and concludes shortly before mid-September.
