MareMirtilli Eco Beach, Paestum

Heading south towards Agropoli, Paestum’s beach takes on an almost wild appearance, with sand dunes and expanses of white flowers that make this stretch of coast unique and impose, among local tourism operators, the need to protect the environment by avoiding harmful speculation and construction. MareMirtilli reflects this philosophy. Taken over by the Cilento hotel group Acanfora Hotels, the facility has immediately established itself as one of the most interesting destinations in the area. On the beach we find daybed or gazebo options, both equipped with comfortable mattresses and fabric covering, while in the garden among the green lawn, hedges and succulents, a gazebo with an additional table for four people is available. Massage therapy is available daily by reservation. A large paid parking area is available for guests, surrounded by trees and Mediterranean scrubland. At the restaurant, open only for lunch, they prepare simple dishes with excellent fish, tartare, sushi, and pizzas. After debuting in the 2023 season, the facility has been significantly enhanced over subsequent seasons thanks to investments in beach stations and the beach restaurant, which presents itself as an elegant place perfectly integrated with nature, featuring white drapes made from organic fabrics. On the beach there’s a swing, but for the more athletic, a fitness area is also available.
