Agua Beach, Noto

Very large and functional structure, on San Lorenzo beach, in a strategic position between Marzamemi and the Vendicari Reserve. Agua Beach was created in 2008 and has witnessed and contributed to the rapid development of Noto and its coast as a tourist destination. Before Agua Beach arrived, there were only dunes and free beach, in a stretch of wild coastline that has largely been preserved as it was, and the area now overseen by the beach club is one of the few equipped with services. Moreover, around Agua Beach, through the initiative of the managers, a tourist network has formed consisting of Agua Green Resort, equipped with about fifty accommodations, and the residence which has about fifteen apartments. From the Green Resort, zero-kilometer agricultural products arrive at the beach restaurant and are then used in the kitchen, from vegetables to extra virgin olive oil. Among the dishes on the menu we find: red prawn gazpacho, lobster rosso (linguine with lobster and cherry tomato), twin sole and berry cheesecake, to be accompanied by a good selection of wines on the menu or alternatively with some selected beers. The structure is comfortable, despite its impressive size (270 positions) and the “oasis” effect is amplified by the contrast with the surrounding free beaches which, in August, are incredibly crowded. This and other reasons, such as the quality standards ensured throughout the season, drive even VIP clientele to take refuge at Agua Beach, but in reality it is not an establishment for a select few: prices, excluding gazebos and other large structures, are still affordable
