A-Mare Liscia Ruja, Costa Smeralda

A new opening in 2024, A-Mare is the result of an initiative by Smeralda Holding, which has created a 5-star beach club on the wonderful beach of Liscia Ruja, designed as a place where people can live freely, without dress codes, with live music and the highest level of services. The project was entrusted to the Milanese architecture studio Dordoni, which was inspired by the old beaches of Costa Smeralda, starting from old photos and updating the concepts in a contemporary key. On the beach we find about thirty spots with sixty sun loungers, towels and fresh water are complimentary. For those sailing the crystal-clear waters of Sardinia with their yacht, A-Mare offers taxi boat service and the same service, by land, is offered to clients of hotels in the area, so they avoid getting their car stuck in the sand. Jazz and ambient music accompanies the hours spent under the sun, with the help of excellent cocktails among the classics and signatures on the drink list, such as the Sunset Paloma with mezcal base. The consultancy of three Michelin star chef Antonio Mellino (Quattro Passi, Nerano) characterizes the cuisine, from which come dishes like the fresh tuna salad, fettuccine alla Nerano, imperial red prawns and the cherry amarena croccante. Essential wine list with some large format champagnes and cocktail menu with three signatures (Palomito, Amore Mio and Onda Smeralda). The concession is limited in terms of space and, by necessity, the umbrellas are quite close together.
