Zen Beach, Gallipoli
We love the lounge area with white sofas, the plants that provide relief, and the healthy food concept of the restaurant

Gallipoli, despite being crowded and complicated during summer, remains a wonderful destination, even if the sea experience can sometimes be challenging. Among the beach clubs in Baia Verde, Zen Beach deserves a prominent place given its fortunate location and its status as a reference point for a young clientele that loves the spectacular Salento sea and enjoys having access to a facility where they can have fun. Certainly, issues are not lacking, especially during holidays and the central two weeks of August: guests expect more qualified service, better cleanliness on the beach (though this also depends on those who frequent it) and reduced crowding. That said, Zen Beach is certainly a beautiful beach club, also bookable online, with a Buddha at the entrance welcoming guests and promising an atmosphere in keeping with the establishment’s name. We love the lounge area created with white sofas, the presence of plants that provide relief even on the hottest days, the restaurant concept focused on healthy food with excellent sushi and frise (though new local dishes have been added in recent years, including inevitable orecchiette), the Champagnerie, and the festive atmosphere that you experience and breathe at sunset. The number of sunbeds positioned facing the sea is certainly excessive and not commensurate with the price asked to guests, in light of which expectations are high. In any case, it should be noted that it is a beach club for young clientele and where seniors might find many things that are not to their liking.
