Alas Beach, Cassano allo Ionio

For five seasons on the Sibari plain, Alas has been operating, managed by Gianfranco De Luca, an entrepreneur in the furniture sector who has diversified into the beach business, taking over an existing beach club and transforming it both aesthetically, creating 150 spots with about 330 sun loungers, and in terms of content, making it the meeting point for young people in the area. Here the highlights of the season are the events and evenings with happy hour, DJ sets and live music. During summer, the selection of contestants who will participate in Miss Italia takes place. The beach club’s setting is contemporary, trending towards total white, with indoor lounge areas, a dining space on the terrace and some private areas with white sofas for evenings spent under the palm trees and maritime pines. The beach’s location is very evocative, near the pine forest that protects the beach from the Sibari territory and on a fine sand beach with crystal-clear sea. The restaurant offers fish-based dishes such as paccheri with seafood, lobster tagliolini, various raw fish platters. Essential wine list, some Champagne labels and especially cocktails represent the beverage offering. Premium spots offer smartphone charging facilities. Free outdoor parking.
