Arya Beach Club, San Teodoro

In its second year of operation, what presented itself as the first beach club on the famous La Cinta beach in San Teodoro has distinguished itself above all for its desire to extend the seasonal time horizon, opening for eleven months a year and organizing events even during Christmas and New Year’s period. Arya is located at the final stretch of La Cinta for those arriving from San Teodoro, where the sandy section ends and the rocky coastline begins. Although this is not a particularly favorable position for entering the sea, given the presence of stones that require the use of water shoes to get into the water (which is still wonderful, with a sandy seabed after the initial rocky stretch), this establishment compensates by boasting many other strong points, making it the most advanced and interesting in the area. Starting with the setup of an aesthetically beautiful, well-maintained indoor space that allows customers to enjoy the experience without crowding stress, a problem very present on the free beach. The stations consist of African straw umbrellas, wooden loungers with mattresses and towels provided. Inside we also find a lounge area with ethnic-style seating and low tables, plus a branded swing in front of the bartender’s station. The clientele consists of couples and families who relax while ambient music is kept at moderate volume. The restaurant is open from 10:30 to 17:00 and offers dishes such as octopus carpaccio with seasonal vegetables, pacchero pasta with three tomatoes and lobster, and fried squid and vegetables in tempura. Among the beverage offerings, the sangria and sparkling wine “combo” stands out, then there are signature and international cocktails, the “gintoneria” and a good wine list that gives space to the best white wines of Gallura and naturally to Italian and French sparkling wines. There’s also an artisanal gelato offering.
