Penelope a Mare is Abruzzo’s Best Beach Club

Penelope a Mare wins the title of best beach club in Abruzzo in the 2026 edition of Guide to Italy’s Best Beach Clubs, the first and only guide in the sector conceived and curated by journalist Andrea Guolo and actress and writer Tiziana Di Masi, in bookstores for the third consecutive year in updated and renewed edition (Morellini editore, Milano).

The beach establishment in Pescara thus consolidates its leadership within a dynamic region that features prominently in the guide. There are 16 Abruzzo beach establishments in total featured in the publication, which has selected just over 300 top beach clubs throughout Italy, from this year also with the new addition of lakeside establishments.

In addition to the overall winner, three special awards have been given out divided by category. Bolla Mare in Roseto degli Abruzzi prevailed in dining, winning the Cà Maiol Award – Best beach restaurant 2026. The San Greg by Feudi di San Gregorio Award for best design was given to Cibivacco Frontemare in Giulianova. Finally, Loasi in Silvi Marina received the award for best beach club for quality and sustainability (Audit People Award) for its policies implemented in this area.
