Sunset Beach Club, Tropea

The Sunset Beach Club gained national fame by outshining the local competition during an episode of Quattro Ristoranti, Alessandro Borghese’s contest show, but it’s not just a restaurant. It’s actually a beach club with around thirty white setups (umbrella and two loungers) positioned on the beach, at really minimal distance from each other, and with a series of ongoing investments that will lead to the creation of some rooms directly within the structure. The project is displayed in the restaurant area and we can’t wait for it to be completed because something similar doesn’t exist yet on Lungomare Marina del Convento, and it will help qualify the offer of this stretch of beach. For now, Sunset guests can enjoy both the restaurant cuisine of Pino and Helen, the two partner-cousins who own the venue, with platters of local specialties, cod meatballs, paccheri pasta with grouper sauce, red tuna steak or roasted octopus, salads and, for dessert, the classic artisanal tartufo from Pizzo Calabro. On the menu we also find excellent Neapolitan-style pizzas and gluten-free dishes. The other certainty already present in the structure is the panoramic terrace, ideal for admiring the sunset during aperitif time.
