Shada Beach Club, Civitanova Marche

Managed by the Ascani family, active since 1977 with various brands in catering, entertainment and hospitality in general, Shada is primarily an event venue with an accessory beach facility featuring about eighty spacious and well-spaced spots on the beach of Civitanova in a strategic location. When visiting, you can sense how operations begin by mid-afternoon to set everything up for the nighttime party. The plus, for those who think of it as a beach club, is related to the drink offering, which is based on the presence of four bars – apparently too many during the day, but in the evening you understand it works perfectly. After all, considering that Shada employs 140 people during peak times, it’s clear we’re dealing with a truly special situation: just take a look at the queues that form at the entrance in the evening and everything becomes clear. We love the entrance, adorned with tall palm trees, and the general presence of ornamental plants. In the kitchen we find many fish dishes, from cruditè to tartare and catch of the day, plus some meat offerings. Among the best sellers: linguine cacio pepe with lime-marinated prawns, crispy squid cooked in a pan with lemon flakes, squid skewers. At night Champagne flows freely and cocktails are handled by 12 bartenders. The evenings change based on the day of the week and season, but the program is always intense with DJ sets, great artists of current and “vintage” Italian music, and the Sand & Champagne format created last year for Friday nights.
