At Punta San Vigilio, the Rana family has created the beach club that was missing, surpassing the concept of “exclusive” that now dominates the Italian lakes scene to achieve an inclusive approach that starts with free entrance. Then, those who want an umbrella and sun lounger will pay an amount that, compared to other facilities of similar level, is less than half. The 2025 season can be considered the first at full capacity, after two years of fine-tuning and overcoming some controversies that, from our perspective, seem pretextual. You park your car inside, service included in the price (for those choosing the sun lounger and umbrella option or the more luxurious cabana) and choose which side to go to, because the beach is divided into Riviera Beach Club (on the right, looking at the lake) and Riviera Terrace (on the left). The right side is set up where there’s the descent to the lake, with sun loungers on the green and the Garden Bar; in the far end, customers with dogs can be accommodated. On the left side, instead, we find the terrace overlooking the bay complete with swimming pool. Looking for a classy beach club? Here the furnishings are “signed” by Antonio Marras. Looking for a high-end restaurant? In the connection with Riviera Terrace is the Riviera Restaurant, with dishes created by chef Francesco Sodano (two Michelin stars at Famiglia Rana restaurant) using Lake Garda’s local ingredients. Riviera Lake handles large numbers, boasting 500 sun loungers and 8 cabanas, but it’s a perfectly organized beach club capable of ensuring relaxation, comfort and top-level services.
