Riservato Beach Club was designed for those who want to enjoy the magnificent view of the fortified city of Alghero even from the beach, because this is the only beach club in the historic center and it was built directly on the cliff, resting on a wooden floor where dining tables for lunch and aperitifs and comfortable wooden loungers with mattresses are placed for sunbathing and enjoying the panorama. In front of the rocks and beyond the sea that fades between azure and emerald green stands the promontory of Capo Caccia, while behind you can notice Villa Las Tronas, one of the best examples of Art Nouveau construction in Sardinia. There are about fifteen spots in total and you can reach the sea in an instant from the lounger, but since it’s all rocky cliff we recommend using appropriate water shoes. The bar is positioned in direct contact with the rock and under the prickly pear plants: it offers salads, snacks, some fish dishes, a good selection of Italian and French classic method sparkling wines, various signature cocktails (the winner is Vento d’Estate: gin, lemon juice, elderflower syrup and basil) and a tapas menu for the evening with fried foods, tartare, bruschetta and mini burgers. The sunset here is an experience and we recommend booking a table (well in advance) or, even better, staying on the lounger during sunset. And then DJ sets and parties until two in the morning. What more could you ask for?
