The new life of Baia delle Sirene began in 2015, when the beach at Punta San Vigilio, one of Lake Garda’s most legendary and popular locations – also famous for its noble villas – was transformed into a beach resort with various services that enhance the natural attraction it already holds for visitors. It’s only natural to compare this beach club with its “new” neighbor created by the Rana family: these are structures of different type and positioning, with Riviera Lake targeting a more sophisticated clientele, though not necessarily wealthier, while Baia delle Sirene appeals to tourists who enjoy living in harmony with nature. The lakefront presents some challenges for swimmers, with its rocky and stone bottom, and we recommend wearing water shoes on the delightful little beach. The sage-colored loungers and umbrellas are positioned among the olive trees, on the lawn that ends at the beach, arranged rather closely together. There’s a dog area within the property and, in terms of services, you’ll find a bar serving quick meals (with free table service, now a rarity), sandwiches and hamburgers. The wine list features local labels and a small selection of Italian and French sparkling wines, with a broader choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails.
