Nikki Beach Costa Smeralda

An experience that can only be lived in Costa Smeralda in Italy. It’s the Nikki Beach experience, operating since 2018 in the cove of Petra Ruja. Park your car near the port of Cala di Volpe, use the shuttle service that takes you to the dock where you’ll find the tender ready for a high-speed crossing to Nikki’s little beach, where you’ll have a maxi double daybed with sofa, side table and bottle included in the price (very high, naturally). Music accompanies the flow of time and staff frequently pass between the stations to make sure everything is going well or that you’re not missing fresh fruit, water, Champagne or Provence rosé. For lunch, the cuisine follows Nikki’s style with dishes that have become famous like the Chicken Satay, plus various types of sushi, excellent pinse, grilled meat and fish. All this lasts relatively briefly, because the beach club opens at 11 in the morning and closes before sunset. This is part of Nikki’s formula, conceived by the founders as a daytime venue where the food component is fundamental and based on concepts of taste and lightness, conditio sine qua non of what comes after lunch: to the sound of music, people dance anticipating the evening and experiencing the beach as a party venue. Nikki Beach is therefore a place of relaxation and entertainment at the same time, with guests who enjoy the location and others dancing between the tables, with waiters fueling the party atmosphere. During high season it’s wise to book in advance, because finding a spot isn’t that easy, although last-minute requests are also accepted and, if spots are available, can be made directly at the parking location. Costs are in line with the target clientele, consisting of international customers with very high spending power.
