Lido Mirabello Beach, Bardolino

Just a few steps from the center of Bardolino, Mirabello Beach occupies an enviable position on a small promontory on Lake Garda, and fully satisfies those who want to spend a day on the lake in a cool, shaded and comfortable spot. There is no beach: it is in fact a green lawn nestled among trees, so umbrellas are not needed because the branches and leaves provide natural shade for guests from the sun. Access to the lake is via small stairs as there is no direct descent, since Mirabello is located at a point on Lake Garda where the shore is reinforced with stone to protect the coast from waves. There isn’t much privacy, as the sunbeds are placed right next to each other, but this naturally depends on how many people are present on the day you decide to visit the facility, which moreover does not accept reservations: the only way to contact management is through a WhatsApp number (check their Instagram profile). The food&beverage section is more comfortable, provided by a bar and restaurant that also prepares daily specials, like the homemade lasagna during our visit. And then, as the sign on the blackboard says, “pizza is always a good idea,” and at Mirabello they make it fresh on request. In addition to the enchanting location, the panorama that spans from Alto Garda to the Brescia shore with the Sirmione peninsula that seems within reach, and the kitchen always open during the day (starting from 11 am), another plus is the possibility of spending the day with your four-legged friend on Mirabello’s green lawn. Finally, there is paid parking available on the lakefront, but the ideal solution for those who want to reach this beach is by bicycle, which can be parked in front of the facility.
