Jambo Beach, Cavallino Treporti

Two almost ‘twin’ establishments, the 27 and the 32, sharing the Jambo name but catering to different clientele: the second, Jambo 32, is pet-friendly and has larger spaces because at the 27, the presence of a pine forest and protective dunes help reduce the surface area. First and foremost, we’re on Cavallino beach, in the largest European outdoor tourism district, with an appeal throughout Europe and truly incredible numbers in terms of seasonal tourist presence. But while campers rarely leave their ‘enclosure,’ this doesn’t mean there aren’t beaches available for those who want to discover this environmentally captivating location. And these are almost deserted beaches – outside the campsites – overlooking the Venice lagoon. Jambo, in our opinion, is the best-equipped facility, with a gym at the 27 and the only beach basketball court in the area at the 32, which last season was decorated by artist Francesca Cassani, creator of the Nineinthepaint project. Managing the two beaches for almost twenty years is Alessandro Baita, who has set up two types of spots: in addition to standard ones, well-spaced from each other, there are king-size gazebos. The management of the two beach bars is entrusted to external companies, and while Soleado at the 32 celebrates sunset with its special lanterns that offer a magic view, Duna has a more ‘sophisticated’ orientation not only in terms of events and evenings, but also gastronomically with the consultancy of starred chef Matteo Grandi. Access to sports areas and services is ensured with the use of a rechargeable bracelet with the possibility of taking hot showers with soap.
