Chalet Bagni Pinè, Cupra Marittima

Beachside dinners are one, but not the only, strong point of this chalet in Cupra Marittima. It’s not very easy to find: you need to park your car alongside the Adriatic state road, cross a very narrow railway underpass and then you enter Chalet Bagni Pinè, which is separated from the Adriatic state road by the railway. Composed of few and widely spaced umbrellas, with color choices in harmony with the location, it enjoys a beautiful position on a beach with a sandy bottom and no pebbles, the hills that form the backdrop with their intense green, a sea of vivid blue color. Managed since 2022 by Serena Scaramucci, who is an event organizer by profession, the chalet has become her laboratory and the evenings here are particularly long, also because there are no houses nearby and therefore you can stay late without disturbing the neighborhood, tasting Italian and French sparkling wines, after dinner cocktails and premium gin, until the last customer decides it’s time to go to sleep. Then, at seven in the morning, it starts again with the sea and the sun. Intimacy, relaxation, good quality cuisine based on excellent raw materials, a few dishes and lots of freshness, five different flavors of Roman pinsa to accompany cocktails and sparkling wines during the aperitivo ritual. Among the dishes to choose from, the advice is to trust those in the dining room by asking what the sea has offered today. Another particularity of Pinè are the fruit-shaped ice creams, very popular in summer.
