Tamerici and Tamerici Dog are two adjacent beach resorts with distinctly different target clientele: the first is a family beach for those with children, the second caters to those wanting to enjoy the seaside with their dogs. Both beaches are managed by the Ferro family. Prices are higher at the pet-friendly establishment, where the spaces are larger and, in addition to two loungers for the “owners,” there’s an extra one for Fido. Furthermore, Tamerici Dog is one of the best – in our opinion – pet-friendly beach clubs in Italy because it offers everything needed to keep animals happy too. The highlight remains the dog-washing facility at the exit, which allows owners not to worry about having to clean their car the day after their beach experience. Among the valuable services at Tamerici Dog is the availability of drinking water in the showers as well, to avoid problems in case the dog should drink the water flowing on the ground. As for meals for the “humans,” under each umbrella there are instructions to download an app that allows ordering drinks, food and more from the bar. At Tamerici, instead, there’s a snack bar service with quick dishes, a small wine list and a cocktail section, a specific menu for those with intolerances featuring gluten-free or lactose-free products. And then on the menu we find smoothies and frapshakes, pizza al taglio and a small selection of dishes and salads.
