Bagni Bosetti

Since last season, there’s a new luxury brand in the bay of Paraggi. It’s Cova Montenapoleone, Milan’s most famous pastry shop, so renowned that it was acquired a few years ago by the Lvmh group. The establishment, founded in 1925, belonged to the Bosetti family until 2021, who then sold the business to a group of Milanese partners. And from the Lombard capital came Cova to manage the restaurant activities. A historic gathering place for VIPs and stage for the “dolce vita” of Tigullio, Bagni Bosetti has thus begun a new era colored in white and red, the colors chosen to characterize the furnishings and menus of the dining room overlooking the green waters of the Ligurian Sea. Here the sea is enjoyed year-round because the beach club is open even in winter months, albeit only on weekends, and besides, life in Portofino continues even after summer and guests of the most exclusive hotels in this “jewel” of the Ligurian Riviera move from the piazzetta to the beach at the first sign of sun. Cova’s entrance to Paraggi happened in harmony with the location and the nature of the place, choosing natural teak and wooden wall panels as reference materials while excluding the use of plastic. Montenapoleone has moved here for the summer, to taste the pastry specialties like the famous tiramisu, but also dishes prepared with local ingredients such as gnocchetti with red prawns from Santa Margherita Ligure, cherry tomato cream and Prà basil.
